Patrick Aporu is a transport officer at Stanbic Bank Uganda. He has been part of the big blue family for close to 20 years.

For all these years, he is grateful for the love he has got from the bank. Having joined as young man then, Patrick wanted a job that he would hive him peace of mind while at work, a fulfilment he found at Stanbic Bank.

Last year when he lost his dear wife he was overwhelmed by the #AllforLove that the bank poured out for him. Apart from footing all the bills, they built a house of comfort around him. And the bank came through for him. ” It’s been quite a good ride,” reminisces Patrick.

The father of three loves to spend time with his family when he is not at work. He runs a farm where he grows trees, rice, piggery and other crops.

His advice to the young people and the #StanbicUGChampions is to never minimise any job. “As long as you get something to eat and you can save something for the future, it is worth doing it. Look at the future and plan for it today. Its never too late to begin. #Itcanbe”
